CAA Annual Kickoff Classic X-C Invitational was one for the ages….the new Covid protocols brought a new way to cross country racing this season for the student-athletes. This year’s course was at Tumbleweed Park in Chandler, AZ. Each division utilized wave start, with the next wave starting 2 minutes after the first group. Racing against time, instead of position….some enjoyed this while some did not like the new format. One thing was supported by all………they were excited to be back to racing!
